Internship at BZA

We currently have a student internship opportunity to support our web/graphic design, marketing and client services areas.

This opportunity provides full-time matriculated college students with hands-on learning directly related to their current academic studies. Students will engage in everyday business tasks under the guidance of one of our talented and gifted staff members. The internship program will allow BZA to support students in their career path. Students must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, days and times are flexible.
Please note: Students must be eligible to work in the U.S. BZA does not pay for transportation or housing

Job Description:

The intern will have hand-on experience in all areas of the BZA. This includes both administrative and design support functions. Task may include, but not limited to the following:

  • Support team of web and graphic designers.
  • Web design.
  • Web site maintenance.
  • Graphic design including illustration.
  • Photo editing and retouching.
  • Ecommerce web site support including updating of online storefronts using Miva Merchant shopping cart.
  • Web site construction.
  • Office administration including, communicating with clients, recording time sheets, filing and other job and office administrative functions.
  • Flash design.
  • Flash programming.

Qualifications:

  • Sophomore/Junior/Senior undergrad majoring in related field in which seeking internship.
  • Students must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, days and times are flexible within our normal work day.
  • Previous administrative/office experiences required.
  • Proficient using Windows, Microsoft Office suite products and graphic/web design applications.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
