Before the web and color laser printers, marketing materials had to be professionally printed. Brochures, old newsletters, press releases, sell sheets proudly hid in a closet waiting for their obsolesence date to arrive and off they would go into the dumpster (that was even before recycling). Now with PDFs and online information we put the onus on the reader to print out what they need. In spite of this trend, we are finding today a resurgence of the Pocket Folder. Why?

BZA Launches New Web Site for the Paterson Education Fund

Paterson Education BZA recently launched a new web site for the Paterson Education Fund (PEF) located at www.paterson-education.org. PEF is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to stimulate community action for change so that the Paterson Public Schools ensure that all Paterson children achieve high standards. The site has a very clean and simple design that allows the visitor to quickly find information based upon three main tabs; Learn, Vote and Act.

Firefox Browser Did you know that Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) lacks many web browser industry standards? This causes some quirky phenomena that drives web designers crazy. As we have seen over the past 15 years, the Internet has evolved leaps and bounds since it's infancy, thanks, in part, to the standardization of web site concepts and development. Spearheaded and defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), standards for HTML, XHTML, and CSS function as guides for web site designers and developers so they can create a cohesive user experience across the spectrum of web browsers.
